The Farmhouse Eatery Lockport is a new restaurant set to open October 1st of this year, located in Lockport, IL. Our brand is farm-to-table, polished casual, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Join our team for orientation as a Dishwasher where your passion for hospitality and dedication to excellence will shine!

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment while helping keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, follows food safety and sanitation standards, and is a dependable team player.

Duties

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Keep kitchen areas, floors, sinks, and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Properly dispose of trash and recycling.
• Assist maintenance staff with scheduled cleaning tasks and organization.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout each shift.
• Work efficiently and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Ability to stay on task, work at a steady pace, and maintain high standards in a fast pace environment
• Good communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen team members
• A "clean as you go" mentality and dedication to high sanitation standards
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high safety standards around production and during cleaning tasks
