Color Designer

Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid: onsite Monday-Thursday and can work from home on Fridays)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Color Designer to provide crucial project support. This individual will work closely with the Footwear & Apparel Color Design teams. The role focuses on strategic color work, building color palettes, and applying color to create compelling product stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and apply strategic color solutions for apparel.
• Build and manage color palettes that align with brand direction.
• Create and present strong color stories and mood boards.
• Collaborate with the Footwear & Apparel Color Design teams.
• Ensure color application is consistent with design and market trends.

Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Color Design for Apparel is required.

Technical Skills: A portfolio that demonstrates storytelling, mood boards, and variability in experience is required for consideration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with outdoor, streetwear, or performance apparel.
• Familiarity with both fashionable and utilitarian styles.
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, such as a large corporation with a start-up mentality.
• A strong understanding of current trends and the marketplace.
